Eleven communities, from new estates to farm country
Our service area runs from the established streets of Cranbourne to the fast-growing estates of Clyde North, and south and east into the acreage, farms and country towns toward Western Port. Each area has a different mix of homes, and each page below explains the jobs we see most often there.
Cranbourne and its suburbs
- Handyman Cranbourne: the original town, with older homes near High Street, brick veneer streets, units and town centre businesses.
- Handyman Cranbourne North: established family estates from the 1990s and 2000s, now due for maintenance.
- Handyman Cranbourne East: newer estates near the sports precinct, with plenty of setup work and early defects.
- Handyman Cranbourne West: family estates beside a large business and industrial precinct.
- Handyman Cranbourne South: lifestyle blocks and acreage near the Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne.
Clyde and Clyde North
- Handyman Clyde: a historic township surrounded by brand-new estates and remaining farms.
- Handyman Clyde North: one of Victoria’s fastest-growing suburbs, with many double-storey homes on compact lots.
Botanic Ridge and Devon Meadows
- Handyman Botanic Ridge: larger, well-finished homes beside the gardens and the golf course.
- Handyman Devon Meadows: horse properties, hobby farms and acreage toward Western Port.
Country towns
- Handyman Lang Lang: a farming town on the South Gippsland Highway with older homes, new estates and farms.
- Handyman Koo Wee Rup: a town on the reclaimed swamp lands, where soft ground and damp shape the work.
Different areas, different jobs
In the new estates, the work is mostly installation and early maintenance: TV mounting, shelving, blinds, flat-pack, settling cracks and door adjustments. In established suburbs, it is repairs to doors, plaster, wet areas, kitchens, fences and decks. On acreage and farms, it is gates, fences, sheds, verandahs and gutters. In the country towns, it is all of these, plus older timber homes that need traditional repairs.
